Are you planning a winter sports holiday this coming winter and want to prepare as well as possible? Then join the Cardo Healthcare SKI-FIT program!
What is it? This 4-week exercise program, based on two weekly physical therapy sessions led by a physiotherapist, is an excellent way to prepare your body for the intense physical exertion of winter sports. This program focuses specifically on strengthening key muscle groups, improving flexibility, and increasing stability to prevent injuries.

1. Strength training; for the legs, to strengthen the muscles of the thighs, hamstrings, and calves.
2. Core stability exercises, to strengthen the torso and improve your balance.
3. Flexibility exercises for the hips, ankles, and lower back to increase range of motion.
4. Cardio exercises, to improve endurance, which is essential for longer days of skiing or snowboarding.
5. Balance and coordination exercises, to improve balance.
The program consists of various exercises to gradually increase the intensity, allowing the body to adapt properly and ensuring you are optimally prepared for winter sports. Following this program can significantly reduce the risk of injury and ensure you are better able to enjoy your winter sports. Payment for this is made as a preventative measure and is billed through your supplementary insurance. If you don’t have a supplementary insurance policy, please inquire about the costs.
